We are able to offer placements and learning opportunities in many areas throughout our diverse site. Casual Recreation Staff for Kiwanis Village Lodge Long Term Care

Kiwanis Village Lodge Long Term Care is seeking casual recreation staff to join our fun and thriving team. Working mainly within long term care, and with opportunities to support assisted and independent living residents, we invite you to help us shift the mindset of the care for older adults through carefully planned and highly responsive therapeutic recreation programs. If you have a diploma or certificate in activation, recreation or leisure services (a valid first aid and class 4 unrestricted drivers’ license) and have a desire to pursue a career to bring joy and purpose to our residents by designing and implementing health & wellness programs we encourage you to apply.

Kiwanis Village is growing and we invite you to join our professional, future oriented, not for profit, community. We are seeking casual recreation staff to support the clients of our Adult Day Program (ADP). Our ADP provides intentional programming that strives to nurture every facet of well-being for older people. From the physical and cognitive, to the emotional and spiritual our Day Program uniquely tailors activities through listening and responding to the wishes of our clients. We are seeking passionate, creative, heart centered people to join our team. If you have a diploma or certificate in recreation, leisure studies or activation (or a combination of related education and experience) as well a Valid First Aid and knowledge and experience providing recreation programs to older adults (A Current Class 4 Driver’s License is considered as asset) we would love to hear from you.
