  • I need scheduled personal assistance with day-to-day activities
  • I currently receive home support services through Island Health
  • I need hospitality services such as meals, housekeeping and social & recreational activities included with my rent
  • I am able to maintain my independence and can arrange my own transportation and purchase groceries and personal items as required


Kiwanis Village provides publicly-funded Assisted Living in both the Kiwanis House and the Soroptimist Suites.  Village-wide there are 30 studio and 50 one-bedroom suites, with kitchenettes, patios or balconies, and a comfortable common lounge.

Services included with the monthly rent are:

  • Daily lunch and dinner
  • Weekly light housekeeping
  • Weekly linen laundry service (bed linens and towels)
  • A full range of social and recreational activities
  • Scheduled activity outings
  • 24 hour/day emergency monitoring
  • Personal assistance services provided by Island Health


Assisted Living at Kiwanis Village is publicly-funded through Island Health.  Residents generally pay 70% of their after-tax income, and are also responsible for a security deposit and payment of monthly utilities.

Please note, Kiwanis Village does not manage the waitlist for Assisted Living.
