Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator (Permanent Position)

Reporting to the Manager of Community Development and Engagement the Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator (TRC)  is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of all the social, emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual recreation programs. The TRC will provide supervision to recreation staff as well as support the volunteer program.

The TRC will be responsible to take a leadership role in implementing culture change initiatives throughout the Kiwanis Village Community. The TRC will be a culture change catalyst and through strong leadership, ability to problem solve and build organization capacity the TRC will help shift our culture and take a key role in helping our community create our shared vision.

This is a flexible 4 day a week position that may require occasional evening and weekend coverage. The compensation is $30 an hour with a comprehensive benefit package.
