A new standard in affordable independant Supportive Living

Opened in September 2009, the newest building in Kiwanis Village sets a new standard in affordable  Supportive Living.

Each of the thirty-one spacious one and two-bedroom suites offers fully independent living, as well as dinner daily, weekly housekeeping and a full range of activities.

Kiwanis Villa features a large, comfortable activity lounge and a sunroof deck as well as a covered walkway which connects to the Fireside Restaurant in Kiwanis House.

 The 3-storey Villa has three floor plans varying in size from 550 to 720 square feet.  All of the suites are designed with comfort and safety in mind.  The kitchens are fully equipped and feature a full-sized fridge and self-cleaning stove.  All have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom with shower and an exterior deck or patio with a built-in screen door.  In addition, each unit has phone and cable outlets in both the living room and bedroom and also has high-speed internet.

One of the most unique designs of this beautiful building are the 12-15 foot vaulted ceilings on the top floor apartments.  These bright, open-concept suites feature transom windows above the door to the deck.

In keeping with our Village mandate to offer affordable housing, 12 one-bedroom units on the 1st and 2nd floors are assigned for seniors with an annual income below $26,500.00.
