Kiwanis Village Nanaimo

Kiwanis Village is a six acre campus of care catering to seniors requiring various levels of support and accommodation.  Offering independent living, supportive living, assisted living and complex care, this unique setting allows seniors to age in place.

Conveniently located in central Nanaimo, Kiwanis Village is adjacent to the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, close to nearby shopping centres and doctor’s offices, and is on a major transit route with a stop at the entrance of the Village.

Kiwanis Village is owned and operated by the Nanaimo District Senior Citizens’ Housing Development Society (NDSCHDS).  This not-for-profit organization, partnered with the Kiwanis Club of Nanaimo, has been providing an unparalleled level of housing and care options for the senior community in Nanaimo for over 50 years.

The Kiwanis Village Nanaimo construction is now complete with the opening of our fifth building, the beautiful Kiwanis Villa offering independent living suites.  This final building adds another component to the Kiwanis Campus of Care featuring bright, modern units surrounded by beautiful gardens and walkways.
